I joined a Google Meet today with a few colleagues that my principal organized to address some of the questions and concerns that most teachers are experiencing in these uncertain times. There are so many variables involved and no one really has any solid answers yet. As we head into the dog days of summer, and get closer to opening up the schools, all I can think about is how my poor kiddos in first grade will adjust to their new normal. I am praying for a safe return for all stakeholders involved. For today though, I will relax in my pool and try to enjoy the remaining weeks of summer.
